Kleinburg Village – what makes this community one of Ontario's luxury real estate markets?
Tuesday Oct 27th, 2020
I popped into my local Balzac's coffee shop today in the Village of Kleinburg to grab a cup of jo on my way to a meet a client for a showing. The village is typically energetic with people walking their dogs, visiting the cafes and restaurants or the boutique shops while expensive cars line the streets. Today it was peaceful and quiet, and it made me wonder, there is no question this village is full of charm but what makes this community one of Ontario’s most sought after luxury real estate markets?
My husband and I purchased a home on a 2-arce lot in 2014 and made the move to Kleinburg from the 416. We fell in love with the this little community, a small gem with loads of character and a country feel. Although there has been a large influx of new developments, the main village and heritage sites are protected. A few years back, Vaughan completed an Economic Development Strategy following the successful Mainstreet National Trust for Historic Preservation model. The result defines Kleinburg’s niche as an outdoor recreational paradise and a meeting place for visitors and the local community.
The Kleinburg area has much to offer residents in the way of amenities. Attractions include the McMichael Art Gallery, featuring the great works of the Group of Seven, art classes and more than 100 acres of hiking trails to explore. The Kortright Conservation Centre is were you can sign up for an evening of stargazing or take a ride through Santa’s forest at Christmas time. If sports are more your style ,there is no shortage of golf courses nearby — Copper Creek, Nobleton Lakes and the National and the many cycling and tennis clubs. For those with a more adventurous spirit , Canada’s Wonderland and Vaughan Mills outlet are a short drive away. The village also has its fair share of fabulous restaurants, the Avenue Cibi e Vini, Belsito Ristorante, Chophouse Steakhouse and coming soon, Montage Bar, just to name a few.
Amenities – check! Now lets take a look at what the real estate market has to offer.
There are several estate developments and custom homes in the area consisting 5000+ square foot homes on sizeable lots and green space. The average household income in this community is $296,249 and the average cost of estate homes is above $3 Million. These luxury homes offer plenty of value for your money offering more square footage and lot sizes. Visit my Kleinburg community listings page below to see what $3 million can buy you in Kleinburg.
